Facilities Manager - Salary up to £23,398 plus Local Government Pension

Biggleswade Town Council are seeking to
recruit a Facilities Manager at an exciting time as the Town Council is set to
take on new areas of responsibility with the growth of Biggleswade.
The post holder will be responsible for the routine maintenance, servicing, security and records of buildings and assets including fittings and plant, associated contracts and routine safety checks. Facilities include public buildings, car parks, markets, cemeteries, street lighting, play areas, recreation grounds, sports pavilions, public toilets and the Orchard Community Centre.
The Facilities Manager will be responsible for in house services including the Public Realm Service and Facilities Team as well as outsourced services such as waste management, CCTV, cleaning and building maintenance contracts. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and able to prioritise tasks to achieve high standards. They will also promote good health and safety practices and maintain accurate health and safety records.
