CHILDRENS COMPETITION 2020
The Childrens' Competition forms can be collected from Market Square on Saturday at the Plant stall or from the Biggleswade Town Council offices from Monday to Friday.
BIGGLESWADE CHRISTMAS EVENTS 2020
Whilst we come out of the 2nd National Lockdown and into Tier 2, Biggleswade Town Council have worked hard behind the scenes to put on a range of attractions for everyone to enjoy, and get into the festive spirit.
The annual Christmas lights will be switched on this coming Friday, 4th of December. This will coincide with the first Laser Light Show on Market Square. Please ensure that if you come down to Market Square, you adhere to the ‘Rule of six’, are socially distanced and away from other groups. There will be 8 showings spaced out between 5th December and Christmas Eve.
Other attractions are advertised in the image above and have been organised to bring festive cheer and enjoyment in what has been a tough year so far.

REMEMBRANCE PARADE – Sunday 8th November 2020
This year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the usual
Remembrance Parade will not take place in its entirety. There will be a small

A short service will be followed by the Last Post and Reveille. A few dignitaries will lay wreaths during the service.
We ask members of the public to adhere to social distancing and follow the Government Covid guidance with regards to not gathering of large groups.
Biggleswade Town Council will live stream the event on Biggleswade Town Council Facebook page as well as on YouTube. This will enable the Community to participate safely whilst paying their respects to those that have fallen while serving for their country.
The members of public who would like to lay wreaths or place a cross at the Memorial are welcome to do so after the service and once all equipment and barriers have been removed.
On Armistice Day, Wednesday 11th November a short service will be held at the Memorial in Market Square at 10.45am.
Members of the public are reminded to adhere to the Government guideline with regards to social distancing guidelines to not gathering in large groups.

The High Sheriff, HM Lord Lieutenant of Bedfordshire, Helen Nellis has sent a certificate of appreciation aimed at everyone who has played a vital and much-valued role in a response to the Covid19 emergency.
