July 2017

26 July - The Mayor, Cllr Michael North, visited St. John’s Hospice, Moggerhanger with Cllr Bernard Briars and Cllr Frank Foster. St. John’s Hospice has been chosen as the Mayor’s Charity for 2017-18. (Photograph below courtesy of St. John's Hospice)

June 2017

24th - 27th June - The Deputy Mayor, Cllr Mrs Madeline Russell, attended the Twinning Celebrations in Erlensee, on behalf of the Mayor. The Deputy Mayor presented a new Biggleswade Town Council flag as a gift from Biggleswade to Erlensee. 

24th June - The Mayor, Cllr Michael North, attended the opening of the new Cotswold Outdoor store at the A1 Retail Park, Biggleswade. (Photograph below).

 

April 2017

23rd April - The Mayor, Cllr David Albone, attended the Biggleswade & District Scout Association's St George's Day Service at St Andrews Church. 

March 2017

19th March - The Mayor, Cllr David Albone, attended Stotfold Civic Service held at St Mary's Church, Stotfold.

14th March - The Mayor, Cllr David Albone, attended the Remembrance Service of the 260th Anniversary of Death of Admiral the Honourable John Byng, Admiral of the Blue at All Saints Church, Southill. (On behalf of Byng Family).

12th March - The Mayor, Cllr David Albone hosted the annual Mayor's Civic Service at Biggleswade Baptist Church.

11th March - The Mayor, Cllr David Albone, was Guest of Honour at the 74th Annual Dinner  for the 2065 (Biggleswade) Squadron ATC.

2nd March - The Deputy Mayor, Cllr Michael North, attended the unveiling of the new Ivel Sprinter. 

February 2017

25th February - The Mayor, Cllr David Albone, attended the Community Open Day (Discover Islam Exhibition) at the Weatherley Centre, Biggleswade. (Biggleswade Islamic Centre).

16th February - The Mayor, Cllr David Albone, attended the Chairman of the Council's Civic Reception and launch of Cheering Volunteering 2017 Nominations at The Priory, Chicksands. (Central Bedfordshire Council).


December 2016

17th December - The Mayor, Cllr David Albone, attended the Biggleswade and District Choral Society's Carol Concert at St Andrews Church, Biggleswade.

November 2016

16th November - The Mayor, Cllr David Albone, attended the Potton Civic Service held at St Mary Church, Potton.

10th November - The Deputy Mayor, Cllr Michael North, attended the World Mental Health Day event held at Jordans Mill, Nr Biggleswade. "Managing Mental Health in the Workplace".

October 2016

1st October - The Mayor, Cllr David Albone, attended the Kempston Town Mayor's Reception at Centenary Hall, Bedford.

September 2016

29th September - The Mayor, Cllr David Albone, Deputy Mayor Cllr Michael North,
Cllr Mrs Madeline Russell, Cllr Mrs Hazel Ramsay and the Town Clerk, Rob McGregor attended the opening of Marks and Spencer at the Retail Park, London Road, Biggleswade.

25th September - The Mayor, Cllr David Albone, attended the Ampthill Town Council Civic Service which was held at St Andrews Church, Church Street, Ampthill.

22nd September - The Mayor, Cllr David Albone, attended the opening of the new extension at Edward Peake School.

4th September - The Mayor, Cllr David Albone, together with Cllr Mrs Hazel Ramsay, attended the Ivel Sprinter 25th Anniversary Celebrations.

July 2016

2nd July - The Mayor, Cllr David Albone attended the IFTAR meal whereby more than 100 people attended to mark the end of the day's Ramadan fasting in the Islamic Community Centre in Biggleswade.

2nd July - The Deputy Mayor, Cllr Michael North participated in the judging of the Biggleswade Town Carnival Floats.
